About the Los Feliz Art Walk
Los Feliz Art Walk is a revival of a former community service and celebration of arts previously sponsored by La Luz de Jesus gallery.
A new, as yet "Untitled" non-profit entity in this area for Arts and Spirituality is coming together with community energy and vision to launch additional events and opportunities.
As the first and most accessible project of this entity, our mission to enhance the arts in the Los Feliz area includes (but is not limited to) these broad principles:
- to engender dialogue between the diverse spiritual and creative coummunities in our area, both of which nourish the human soul and humanize urban life;
- to broaden cross-cultural understanding through both art and spiritual media;
- to encourage a cross-disciplinary collaboration between distinctive artistic forms of expression, including graphic and representational, sculptural, musical, theatre and film;
- to build support for public art in public spaces;
- to broaden the public's understanding of art and art education.

Courtyard Center Studio and Gallery Exhibits
 | We have opened space for a 900+ sq. ft. gallery/ studio for art and photography on N. New Hampshire, in the Courtyard and adjoining education building of Hollywood Lutheran Church --- a newly-refurbished space for community gatherings, exhibits, receptions and other events. Currently, we're seeking seed money and grants from local sources, as well as patrons and artistic partners, to get this started, because there is wonderful potential for the Los Feliz area. |
Who is Behind the Los Feliz Art Walk?
A small group of artsy visionaries is working to put the Los Feliz Art Walk back on the map! Our borad of directors is still in formation, but the visionaries already include: Dan Hooper, Don Koepke, Roberta Morris and Adrian Ravarour. You can contact us at:
