John August Swanson: Latest Work

World-renowned Los Angeles artist John August Swanson has produced a new poster in his own intensely-colorful expressive style.  We haven't seen it yet, but you will find it September 5 at the Courtyard Gallery.

What's Next?

October 2008 — Video with art:  created by children and teens in Austria; featured in the new documentary film “The Franz Jagerstatter Story.”

November 2008 — Emerging community artists: exhibiting their work for the first time.

December 2008 — National AIDS Memorial Quilt:  display of over 700 sq. ft. of the largest folk art creation in the world, in conjunction with World AIDS Day and the local observance “Hollywood Remembers,” a concert and multimedia event in Los Feliz; holiday arts and crafts from local artisans.
