New artistic openings are happening in our neighborhood on the First Friday of October. Plan to walk the nieghborhood and discover the creativity in Los Feliz.
A special welcome to Mara Safransky, who opens her studio Friday October 1 from 6:00~9:00 p.m. The Safransky Studio is located at 1849 N. Berendo Street in Los Feliz. You can walk from the Village.
Important Community Arts Meeting on the Future of Barnsdall Art Park ~
In the midst of the City of Los Angeles' fiscal crisis, what is to become of our neighborhood's most important cultural and artistic asset? Who is making the decisions? Are community voices being heard? What would be best for East Hollywood and Los Feliz?
On Tuesday, October 5, the Barnsdall Art Park Foundationis hosting a stakeholders meeting in the Barnsdall Park Gallery Theatre, to bring together voices for a community arts team, including the Hollywood Arts Council, East Hollywood and Greater Griffith Park Neighborhood Councils, the Los Feliz Art Walk and other organizations.

Keller Williams continues to host its latest exhibit until December 3, featuring tyhe work of four local artists: Scott Miller, John Masterson Hoffman, Sylviane Rebaud and Hea-Sook Yoo.
