Barnsdall Art Park

The future of Barsndall Art Park is in jeopardy because of the City of Los Angeles' current financial crisis, and with other arts programs is operating only on emergency funds.  We hope more information is forthcoming about prelimnary plans to keep Barsndall open under non-profit management.

Money is being raised to erect an amazing sign (architect's rendering shown above) for the entrance of Barnsdall Art Park.

Corita Art Center

The Corita Art Center is located on the campus of Immaculate Heart High School, on the N.W. corner of Franklin and Western Avenues in Hollywood. Entrance is on Western at the AFI gate.

Look for Corita Art's 40th Anniversary exhibition beginning Fist Friday, June 4 at several Los Feliz Art Walk venues, including Skylight Books and the Courtyard Galleries.

Independent Shakespeare Company

After six years in our neighboring Barnsdall Park, the Independent Shakespeare Company moves to a larger home for the 2010 season, in Griffith Park near the Zoo, where a more permanent stage is being construction.
