Hollywood Remembers, the host of this years World AIDS Day event in Hollywood, is co-sponsoring the First Friday, December 4 Los Feliz Art Walk with the Art Institute of California-Hollywood. Co-sponsors include the Greater Griffith Park Neighborhood Council (GGPNC). In the Courtyard Studio and Arts Gallery from November 28 through December 6, see works by: Irwan Bin Iskak, Miah Jeffra, Terry Konrath, Jessica Schneider, Kelsey Sweet, Linda Stelling, Stevn Gast and others. The national AIDS Memorial Quilt is on exhibit here in Los Feliz, in observance of World AIDS Day. Over 500 square feet of the 12 x 12 panels are hung in the sanctuary of Hollywood Lutheran Church from November 27 through December 6.

The complete AIDS Memorial Quilt, covering 1.3 million square feet, is believed to be the largest work of folk art in the world.

HAPPY Los Angeles has PLENTY.

A new exhibit at Happy also opens First Friday, December 4 and runs through January 24.
